How well is your body functioning?
The body uses nutrients from food in all processes and functions of all cells, tissues, organs and organ systems (digestive, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, urinary, lymphatic, skeletal, muscular, integumentary and reproductive).
Nutrients provide energy, provide building blocks for growth and repair, enable biochemical and physiological processes to occur, and create enzymes and hormones.
Good nutrition is therefore essential for a healthy, functioning body.
So, how well is your body functioning? If not doing so optimally, is it time to look at your nutrition?
